Accredited Study Centres

Study Centres offer a service to students who would like supervision of their studies, have the social interaction of studying in a group and/or the academic support of some face to face tuition. Study Centres also help the students to submit assignments and any other administrative documentation.

Each Study Centre has their own schedule and adds value in their own way.

Parents/students need to visit the Study Centre you are interested in attending and discuss your needs with the Head of the Study Centre.

BIDC inspects all our accredited centres. Parents can be assured that the following centres are operated ethically and legally.

Many of the students are at TEA because they enjoy the opportunities if offers. From the freedom of subject choices to the lack of uniform to the international qualifications, TEA students are happy students. The syllabus is flexible, allowing acceleration through certain years or repeats when necessary. The small, home-style environment means that students can study independently or in groups and have tutoring classes in key subjects weekly. TEA also does a variety of non-academic programmes and excursions including visits to art galleries, museums, watching documentaries at the cinema and going to local and international exhibitions. Job shadowing and community service also forms a part of the flexible LO programme. TEA is a full time academic centre that offers a Cambridge-based secondary syllabus in a relaxed and informal setting.

TGSE’s Junior Academy is a full-time programme for ages 14 to 19, where learners combine elite golf training with a quality, internationally recognised school education.

TGSE has partnered with British International Distance College, an accredited provider of the Cambridge International Examinations curriculum to provide the education part of the programme. Scholars study towards IGCSE and AS-level qualifications which are highly regarded and recognised both locally and worldwide.

The education component is distance based, with tutor support and supervised classes.  This unique approach provides exceptional academic support, whilst providing young golfers with the flexibility to adapt their study time around their tournament and training schedule.  This modern style of education is becoming more popular with talented young athletes due to the benefits that it provides.

The students spilt their days between the classroom, the range, the gym and the golf course.  The students receive 100% supervision throughout their schedule to ensure disciplined training and study is guaranteed.  Our success in accelerating the learning in both golf performance and academics is second to none.
